    Been like a year and half…NEVER got any sort of back pain from this chair and I sit in this mfer like its my couch and bed

    Update–after writing the review below, I contacted Amazon to file a complaint about Ticova. Amazon issued a full refund and apologized. Ticova sent me an email about my review and offered me a $100 refund if I removed it. They told me that my review hurt their business and meant that their employees could not feed their families. I reported the email to Amazon. I have never dealt with such an unethical company before and I am grateful that Amazon took care of the issue for me.

    After researching ergonomic chairs, I purchased this one, hoping to reduce back pain from sitting. However, the chair caused me back pain almost immediately. The seat is far too firm, but seats often are for me, so I added a cushion. I tried two cushions and the seat is still too firm. The back of the chair is uncomfortable and hurts my upper back. I have unlocked it so that I can lean back, added a cushion and then a pillow, and removed the headrest. It is impossible for me to get comfortable in this chair. It is painful to sit in and the pain continues after I get up. The insert with the chair asks customers to contact customer service before returning the chair, so I did. They initially offered me $30 to reimburse me for the memory foam cushion that I bought. When I replied that I was uncomfortable with a cushion, they offered me a $50 refund if I could keep the chair. The customer service representative was friendly and tried to help, but the chair is just not designed well, especially for an ergonomic chair. The customer service representative said that they let the quality control team know so that they could work on these issues in the future. I certainly hope that they do.

    If I could disassemble the chair, I would return it. Removing the gas lift looked tricky to me and I worried that I would damage the chair during disassembly, not to mention trying to fit it into the box to return.

    The assembly was fairly easy (inserting the wheels was the most challenging part for me) and I liked the features that the chair has. It may be a better chair for someone of a different size; I am petite and it may be that the ergonomics are off for my body type. However, based on some of the other reviews that I have seen, I suspect the chair is just not well-designed.

    Like others have mentioned, this chair was basically perfect for 2 years. Then, the cylinder gave out and the chair will no longer stay up. I reached out to Ticova through Amazon and they got back to me within minutes. The chair is out of warranty, so they couldn’t provide a free replacement cylinder. But they did send me a link to a replacement from a different seller on Amazon. Since I don’t adjust my chair, I decided to get clips that will hold the chair in the correct position instead of a new cylinder, which will likely go bad again. All that said, the chair is really comfy and sturdy. Decent quality ergonomic chair for the price (it was $200 when I bought it, and that was a Prime Day deal, though of course I wish it would have lasted longer) and some bonus points for speedy, helpful customer service.

    I have bought this Ticova Ergonomic Office Chair on July 16, 2022. It has been almost 2 years and it has last me this long. Even i see some reviews not lasting, but it really depends on the person. The seat is very comfortable and the Backrest is mesh and breathable. It’s totally worth my money for the headrest adjusted, backrest adjustment and with the spring on the backrest to fit your spine so awesome for that. My height is 5’7 and the headrest is adjustable for taller people. So if you are taller than 5’7 or if you know someone taller give this Office chair a try.

    I will tell for those who are looking for a great chair for ether gaming or just seating for hours. This chair has not failed me yet and it has been almost two years. I will buy this office chair from Ticova.

    For the price I’d expect the chair to last a lifetime. I use this chair for about a 1-2hrs a day so it’s not getting a full use out of it as a typical office chair would. It’s been almost 3 years of owning this chair. Within the first year the arm rest wore off and now the piston in the chair is shot. When sitting in the chair it constantly lowers itself down until it’s completely bottomed out. Would not recommend this chair to anyone who is looking for reliability.

    Overall, I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the comfort and features this chair provides, compared to other chairs as this price point.

    The Achilles’ heel of this chair is the height cylinder slowly fails after about a year and a half.

    The first of 3 of these chairs we purchased was in November 2022.
    Over the past few months, the user must repeatedly raise the chair multiple times a day, as it slowly bottoms back out.

    If not for cylinder failing, this would be a 5 star chair, hands down!
