Super fast and high quality blender. I was surprised by how much power this thing has. It blends fruits up really well and doesn’t leave any chunks behind. It’s perfect for making delicious smoothies.

This blender is fantastic. I equate it with a big name brand like Ninja or something similar. we actually have another appliance of the same brand and have had no problems with it either. But back to the blender, we have used this quite a few times now , mostly to make smoothies or milk shakes but it works so well, it blends the ice down so fine that you cant even find any chunks left behind, the smoothies are so so smooth and the milk shakes are so creamy. It is a very strong blender. The pitcher is a really good size, you can make multiple drinks at once with the capacity. The blades are strong and sharp. Several different settings for different jobs that you may need to use it for. It can chop nuts down to nothing. We have even made home made peanut butter with it. Very easy to take apart and clean, everything washes up really well in the dishwasher or you can wash by hand, whatever you prefer. cover fits down tightly and seals well. I just cant say enough good things about this blender. The price is on the high end but well worth the cost. Quality is great! I would for sure recommend this to anyone

It does the job. Very loud, sounds like it’s breaking.

Grabbed this as an upgrade to an older blender that was nice, but kind of small and had a broken lid, so this seemed like a good upgrade. The pictures really don’t do it justice, this is a BIG blender. With a 2.5hp motor, it’s got a big and heavy base, this thing is really built like a tank. The 64oz blender jar is huge too, this will be able to handle a whole lot of whatever you’re looking to blend.

There are 6 pre-set options available, including Ice, Smoothie, Sorbet, Nuts, Soup, and Clean, along with a display to show the remaining time for each of those presets. If none of those fit what you’re looking to do, there are 10 manual speed settings to get to your desired amount of blending. The pre-set cleaning function also works really well, just add some dish soap, fill the jar about 1/4 of the way with water, and turn on the cleaning function to really take care of most of the heavy lifting when you’re ready to clean up.

The lid secures tightly to the jar, and the included plunger and scraper help keep your blended items going in the right direction towards the blades. The blades themselves seem very capable. They’re pretty big considering the size of the jar, and they haven’t had any trouble with anything I’ve thrown at them so far. The interior gears are metal, which adds strength and power to the blending experience. This has had plenty of finesse for the smoothies and soups that we’ve thrown at it, and plenty of power for pulverizing ice and chopping nuts. If you’re looking for a high powered blender, this is a pretty good option.

The quality of this blender is apparent when you lift it from the box. It is heavy and well built. I am familiar with the NuWave brand but have never before owned any of their products. My first impressions of this blender are very good. I’m holding back one star to make certain it will perform over time. I have only used this once since receiving it and that was to make salsa verde which it handled that chore with ease which I would expect a blender of this quality would. I used the pulse function to do this and manually turned up the speed until I reached the consistency I wanted. Very easy and intuitive to use. The lid fits firmly and is locked in place with a simple twist.

I like that the pitcher is not glass but thick abs plastic. It makes the pitcher a little lighter and no worries about an accidental drop and chipping or breaking a glass pitcher. The “Clean” mode on this blender is a dream. When I finished making the salsa I put a few drops of soap in the bottom and filled the pitcher with water and hit the clean cycle. It even cleans the underside of the lid thoroughly. All you do then is rinse it out. Also your hands never get close to the blades like they would if you had to hand wash this.
This blender will be seeing much more use as the garden continues to ripen as more salsa and hot sauces and other things will be made. It comes with a plunger and a scraper as well as a very easy to understand manual and a very nice recipe book containing 40 recipes to try in your new blender.

I’m looking forward to using this blender a lot more in the near future and if it continues to perform well or if problems arise I will edit this review. But for now this blender is a beast and I love it. At $249.99 this is a good value but there currently is a $25 off coupon which elevates this to a great value!

I mainly wanted this Nuwave blender for making my daily protein smoothies. While it does get the job done, I’m a little disappointed in the performance, especially given the asking price. I almost always use kale in my smoothies, and this blender just doesn’t break it down enough. I’ve tried numerous settings, but the kale pieces remain large, where I still need to chew on them some before consuming. I also tried using the included plunger, which didn’t help much. I’m not going to give up on this blender just yet though. I plan on trying some of the other settings for it, and will update this review if I figure anything out.

As far as build quality goes, this Nuwave blender is definitely top of the line! Everything throughout feels premium, as well as extremely solid. The base is heavy and super sturdy, which is a huge plus. Speaking of huge, check out the size of the Tritan jar! When I’m making my smoothies, I usually make enough for two servings. With the generous size of this container, I no longer feel like I’m going to run out of room. In fact, it only fills up about half the jar. Very nice! The touch buttons and dial work like a charm, and I love that there’s an extra power switch. This allows you to completely power off the blender, without the need to unplug it. The cord itself is another heavy duty component, feeling like it will last for years to come.

While the motor is indeed powerful, it can get incredibly loud. Anything around maybe a speed of 5 or below is fine. 10 sounds like a mini jet engine is in your kitchen. Luckily, you can use one of the many presets, adjust time, and then temporarily retreat to another room while it works. Since there’s even a preset for cleaning, doing so is a breeze. After running it, I still like to spray everything out for good measure. The instruction booklet says that all the removable pieces are dishwasher safe, but only on the top rack. There’s no way the huge jar is going to fit on the top rack. It would most likely be perfectly fine on the bottom, but I’ve just been washing it by hand every now and then.

The lid makes an excellent seal, and features a twist lock for added safety. The removable center plug is a fantastic idea, which lets you easily push ingredients around without having to remove the entire lid. Also, the plunger you use for this task features a safeguard piece around it. This stops it from accidentally going in too far and hitting the blades. In conclusion, this Nuwave blender is exceptional quality and built like a tank. Despite the small hiccup I had with the kale (which I’m sure I’ll figure out soon), I’d absolutely recommend this blender!
