I bought this specifically to make smoothies as an evening meal every now and then. No issues at all with the power, it grinds through ice and frozen bananas and other fruits without skiping a beat. I used the smoothie setting once, didn’t like it. I prefer to just use pulse.
My wife has also used it to make tomato sauce, she lives it so much better than the immersion blender for that specific purpose. It’s faster and did a great job.
One comment is that I don’t have my recipes down just yet, so I often have to add something to balance it out or thin it out. Using the smoothie jar can be a bit messy opening it to add ingredients. I’ve gotten better at it but still keep a towel handy to clean it off before putting it back to blend some more. I’m going to start weighing ingredients so the results are more consistent. The suction cups on the feet are also a bit of a pain. It’s good they are so strong, but it takes a bit of effort to get them to release. I keep an offset spatula to make it easier to put away, and put a mat in the drawer to make it easier to get out. Neither issue is worth reducing the rating, is just something good to know about.
We already have food processors and mixers, so I doubt if we’ll ever use all the attachments that came with it. But I don’t regret having them just in case.
Except the dough hook, I’ll never use that. 🤪

Another fantastic Ninja product! I got this model specifically because of the smoothie cup. While it does help tremendously to get everything well blended without some random fruit chunk left unblended in the bottom, it’s hard to clean. The arms for the apparatus that twists don’t come off. I usually clean my blender by putting a squirt of soap and hot water in it and blending. In the past, this has always been the easiest way to get the little nooks in a blender. But It doesn’t work with this one. I’ve learned a bottle scrubber with a sponge top specifically is the best way, but it’s still time consuming, especially when dishes are my least favorite chore.

I recently purchased the Ninja SS351 Foodi Power Blender & Processor System and I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase. This appliance has exceeded my expectations in every way. The 1400-peak-watt power-dense motor is extremely powerful and can handle any task I throw at it, from crushing ice to mixing dough. The 6 preset Auto-iQ programs make it easy to create smoothies, extractions, bowls, spreads, chopping, and dough with the push of a button. The variable speed control allows me to customize the speed for precision chopping and mixing.
The 72-oz. pitcher is perfect for making large batches of smoothies or dough, and the Nutrient Extraction Cup allows me to extract vitamins and nutrients from fruits and vegetables for smoothies and frozen drinks. The Smoothie Bowl Maker is a game changer, as it can power through frozen foods with less liquid for perfectly thick smoothie bowls, nut butters, and blender ice cream. The dough mixer has the torque to fold in ingredients quickly and evenly, making up to 2 lbs. of dough in as little as 30 seconds.
I am extremely impressed with the quality and versatility of this appliance. The package includes everything I need, including the 1400-peak-watt power-dense motor, 72-oz. power blender & processor pitcher, total crushing & chopping blade, dough blade, cleaning brush, two 24-oz. nutrient extraction cups with spout lids, 14-oz. smoothie bowl maker with storage lid, hybrid edge blades, and a recipe inspiration guide. I highly recommend the Ninja SS351 Foodi Power Blender & Processor System to anyone looking for a powerful and versatile appliance that can handle a wide range of tasks in the kitchen. It is truly worth every penny

OH HOW I LOVE THIS THING!!!! Previously I had a regular ole food processor and a high end blender but this does both and my smoothies have never been more amazing. I love it so much..even my barbarian of a husband who breaks everything loves it and seems to be able to manage it without breaking it. Salsa, Smoothies, Chicken Salad, Bruschetta…literally everything I want to make starts in this foodie thing and I am 100% here for it. Update: I purchased this thing in summer 2022 and now it is December 2023 and for no reason the pitcher broke…has a giant crack from the base all the way up the side. I never wash it in the dishwasher, I havent put anything very hot in it. (aside from warm tap water to wash it) I havent put frozen blocks of ice or fruit in it..and yet..a giant crack. I found a replacement on Amazon for $70 but the whole machine was only $170..then I found a replacement on Ebay for $40 plus $10 shipping and it comes with a lid and blade..so if I buy it on ebay and reself the lid and blade it comes with I might be close to breaking even..but I do wish there was a warranty that would cover it since its not that old. Im bummed but I love this thing so much for all the joy it gives me..homemade salsa, homemade tomato soup, homemade nut butters, homemade mayo and dressings, homemade nut milks and so much more.

Best purchase we have ever made! The fastest and easiest appliance we own. My Husband got us this for Christmas and made margaritas first. He blended it for about 3 seconds and was done. He handed me a glass and I literally said “That was it? That was so fast!” Perfectly smoothe and no lumps!

I had a year old Ninja system with separate food processor and blenders. However, it did not include the chopping and slicing blades, so it only could achieve a coarse chop. This one does a more ch better job and I don’t think the fact that it doesn’t have a food processor container is a problem. Less to store, actually. So far, I am happy with it.

This is an affordable (relatively) and feature packed set, with something for almost any application. I primarily use it for smoothies and banana “ice cream” and it does a much better job than my previous blender (a black and decker). I like that it has programmed cycles for different types of foods, making it easy to blend while doing other tasks.
The main concern is that the plastic seems to scar easily and despite what I thought was adequate care, my pitcher and smoothie cup both have scoring on the outside…honestly do not know how it happened as I keep the blades separate from everything else when drying or storing.
This is my second ninja blender and it is definitely worth the money.
Note: it is loud, but I don’t think that it is substantially louder than what you would expect from a blender. Maybe consider wearing hearing protection if you’re concerned about that sort of thing.
As for cleaning, I always spray the blades and the pitcher/cups thoroughly immediately after use to avoid difficult residue from building. In the past, I had food seep into the handle of other plastic pitchers, so far I haven’t noticed anything of that sort, but the potential is definitely there, so as a precaution, I recommend cleaning immediately.

I love this blender! It’s powerful, versatile and easy to use. It can make smoothies, soups, dips, doughs and more. It comes with a lot of attachments and accessories that are very handy. The blender jar is large and has a spout for easy pouring. The food processor bowl is also spacious and has different blades for chopping, slicing and shredding. The single-serve cups are perfect for making individual smoothies or drinks. The blender is also easy to clean and has a self-cleaning function.
Pros:
– Powerful motor
– Multiple functions and attachments
– Large capacity
– Easy to clean
Cons:
– A bit noisy
– Takes up a lot of counter space

I absolutely love this blender. I bought it because I do alot of canning in the summer. It does everything I need it to do and some. I just used it to liquify my strawberries for homemade jam and was very impressed. We’ve also used it for margaritas and it blended the ice with zero problems. The problem is now we fight over who gets to use it first lol.

Bought this to replace both a blender and food processor that had seen better days.
Pros: multiple attachments to have many uses and different size batches. Effective blades and strong motor, have yet to hear it struggle or get clogged up.
Cons: a little loud, but better than my old ones. Still looking for a good way to store and keep all the pieces organized
