I wouldn’t suggest trying to game on it, unless it’s an older game, like Doom. Yes, it can run the original Doom. 😀
The boot up times are around 15 seconds (2tb nvme and 32gb RAM) and it does everything I wanted it for. For simple computer use, I’d recommend this all day.

Set up was easy. Came with Win 11 PRO as stated. This one is fast. Not crazy about Win 11, but I’ll get use to it. Make sure you get what is stated in description and that it’s not a return/used laptop. My husband got one of those and back it went. Gave it a 4 as I have not had it long enough for a 5, but it seems to be a really good one for price.

So far works great. It was very easy to set it up and use it. The battery holds for few days, even with me working on it. Speed is great and that is the reason I bought it. The only con is the fan is little loud when turns on but I will take it because it cools down the laptop. Overall, it is a great buy.

I bought this laptop for work, as it had the specs I was looking for at a decent price, and have rarely had any problems with HP beyond them becoming outdated. I have had this for less than a week, and when I thought I was finished with work for the day I locked it and closed it. Had to hop back in, and it was completely unresponsive. The only indication it was on, was the fan was running EXTREMELY hard. I gave it some time, and eventually decided to hard boot it. I left it off for an hour or so, went to turn it back on, and it was just a black screen, fan ramping up, and no response to the mouse, keyboard, etc. An hour later, and it’s still unresponsive and running the fan super hard. I am awaiting a response from the seller, but am guessing I’m screwed until a replacement comes. Poor show HP, you let me down big time on this one.

I use Serato with a dedicated Pioneer controller and Ableton for producing as well as a copy of FL Studio because it’s still useful and it does everything I’ve needed it to do. There were a couple delayed track loads but nothing so bad that it ruined the mix. The setup was easy peasy and easy enough to get by the Microsoft account required nonsense.

The graphics seem good altho the colors get pretty washed out when on the higher brightness settings. That said, I’m not a gamer so I can’t confidently comment on the graphics card’s power.

The quality of the device is about par for the course for it’s price range. I wouldn’t be throwing it out of any helicopters but if it just sits on a desk or a stand and transported in a computer bag it’ll be ok.

The computer is larger than I thought it would be which is usually a good thing and is such in my situation. I’ve noticed 0 heat issues so far, even around the USB-C port. I’ve put a few hours of bare legs as a computer stand when producing use without any uncomfortable heat or sweating.

It’s worth the money for my needs and I would recommend it for any DJ use as well as light to moderate music production use but for the best performance it’d be best to stick to 1 CPU sucking software per machine.

I’m using this for work purposes. It’s fast, processor is a 5i and great size screen.
Lightweight even though it’s a big laptop.
    Very happy with this purchase.

I bought this laptop for regular tasks and some image and data intensive work. It the does the job. No complaints using it over 2-3 months now. I wish it was tough screen. Overall value for money.

I buy these for field workers at my company, all they do is office stuff and email, works good enough for that.
