    First of all, accolades on the packaging that made every part of the box, both internal and out, so easy to breakdown. This smartly designed product seems very well built. Instructions were easy to follow. Since I didn’t want any disappointment later, I tested the product before it was packed in suitcase. It worked well, giving enough steam to work on most fabrics. It even comes with a little travel hanger to use when steaming, that cleverly folds up into a small size. Wonderful product!

    I bought this thinking it probably wouldn’t work as well as my iron, but I was wrong! It works really well to get wrinkles out of almost all clothes without having to get the ironing board out. It heats up so quickly I can even use it in the morning before work to get wrinkles out of a skirt or shirt. I use it without the little guard and on the highest setting, even for silks (sorry, too much effort for the ADHDer) and I haven’t had any issues with the steam damaging the fabrics. I’ll just hold it a little further away from silk since the steam is so powerful. The water reservoir has not leaked and is a decent size for about 3 garments before needing a refill. Sometimes the steam area will spit water droplets in addition to the steam, but not all the time.

    The only things I can iron really well with this are heavy linens that really need pressure and heat to be pressed flat, front creases on dress pants, and certain heavily wrinkled dress shirts. Collars that are wrinkled on dress shirts really need an iron to get that crease.

    I recently purchased the Conair Turbo Extreme Steam in search of a convenient alternative to ironing a single shirt and a portable solution for removing packing wrinkles while on vacation. After using it for a few weeks, here are my thoughts.

    Firstly, the Conair Turbo Extreme Steam performs exceptionally well at home. It’s incredibly efficient at smoothing out wrinkles, even on stubborn fabrics. The powerful steam output ensures that my shirts look crisp and freshly pressed in just a few minutes. It’s a real time-saver, especially for someone like me who prefers not to set up an ironing board for just one item.

    However, when it comes to portability, the Conair Turbo Extreme Steam falls short. While it does a fantastic job at home, it doesn’t quite meet the mark as a travel companion. The device does not fold, and removing the water tank doesn’t significantly reduce its overall size. This makes it somewhat bulky for carry-on luggage, which is a drawback for those looking to travel light.

    If you’re primarily seeking an effective at-home steaming solution, the Conair Turbo Extreme Steam is an excellent choice. Its performance is top-notch, making it a great investment for everyday use. However, if you need a steamer that’s easily packable for vacations, you might want to explore more compact options. Despite this limitation, the Conair Turbo Extreme Steam remains a solid addition to my home routine, delivering impressive results with minimal effort.

    I didn’t think I would need this. As a frequent traveler domestic and internationally, I try to keep my carry-on with only the essentials. My colleagues like to use the steam from the shower and quite frankly, I find this method to be a gigantic waste of water and time. The hotel irons have scorched marks and are not reliable. I bought this and tried it out over 3 weeks in France. It was great. It doesn’t take up too much space and with the built-in converter, I did not need anything else. NOTE: I have an EU plug with a brick that has multiple US outlets. The steamer works as advertised and it has an additional benefit of killing bed bugs if you encounter any, thankfully, we did not. I did take the steamer to China a week later and was excellent for all my dress shirts. Great steamer for on-the-go or in a pinch.

    I bought this specifically for my trip to Australia and it worked really well on the go, and got easily in my suitcase. It has replaced my old steamer because it’s so easy to use and the head tilts so I can steam at different angles. It doesn’t hold much water but refilling is easy. And the green color is so cute

    Pros: This item is very ergonomic to use. I love that it is dual voltage for ease when traveling abroad. It’s compact size makes it perfect for travel; and it’s tank size allows for steaming multiple items of clothing. It is also very sturdy and unlikely to topple if left upright (kids and pets safety).

    Cons: Unfortunately for me, the primary reason I need a steamer is for curtains and heavier fabrics. This item did not work effectively on my curtains. It did, however easily release wrinkles
    on lightweight and medium weight fabrics.
