    Garmin has been really off with its metrics lately. I finally took the plunge on this after using the Apple 8 watch in place of it. The battery is a lot better! I have a small wrist but it’s just the right size thank goddess. I am not sure what the bots are on about this being a fake watch. It’s a legitimate watch off the Apple Store! lol I highly recommend this watch if you are upgrading from an Apple Watch below or want the features Garmin does not have.

    I’ve had series 3 for 6 years, so I decided to upgrade it with this one. If the weight is your concern don’t worry, it’s 10 grams heavier than my S3. One of the reasons I got this one is to future proof it and protect the screen from scratches. Titanium edges really protect the glass from the bumps. Overall, it’s an excellent device. S9 does the same, but I wanted to get something different. I always forget that I wear it, super comfy and cool great looking watch.

    I really like this watch. I’ve always had Casio G Shock watches and this watch allows you to have watch faces that are close to the G Shocks. The bands are very easy to change and the variety seems endless. The battery lasts a long time. Typically, I’ve only used 25% of battery life each day. I’m still learning the watch, but what I’ve seen and experienced hasn’t let me down.

    I got the Ultra because I use it for maps and directions when I’m in a new city or country. I don’t have to pull out my phone and look like a tourist. Battery life is excellent lasting a at least a few days and the large face means I can add a lot of complications easily. I can quickly see the temperature, time, date, new messages, have it locate the nearest public transit and mark a waypoint so I can easily get back to my starting location.

    Lesson learned, DO NOT BUY APPLE PRODUCTS on amazon. I was very excited to go my apple watch and when it came, it looked legitimate. However after only a half a day of use, the watch quickly started showing signs of concern. First, there was a constant lag in the touch screen. Then, when trying to connect to my cell service, it was never getting calls as it should. Therefore, I brought the watch to an actual Apple Store for help. Literally while seated working with the IT tech person at Apple, the watch would not stop glitching, they could not figure out why the cell service was not working, and to TOP IT ALL OFF… the watch was on 2% so she plugged in a super charger and placed the watch on to get some charge. Apparently these chargers are supposed to get watches up to a minimum of 50% in 10min. While working with the IT person and waiting we noticed the watch WAS NOT CHARGING AT ALL and ultimately ended up dying and would never turn back on. The watch would not charge and that is when the tech stated it is likely NOT a new watch as advertised and rather a refurbished watch that simply won’t work due to a poor refurbish. Apparently this is VERY common with apple products on Amazon so BEWARE. Long story short, I learned my lesson. DO NOT BUY apple products outside of an official Apple Store.

    I had the OG Apple Watch. I upgraded to the Ultra 2 and it’s such a vast improvement from the original. Love that it’s waterproof and includes cell connectivity. Map directions on the watch is so useful. What hasn’t improved – more attractive watch faces.

    Honestly love this for watch for me. It’s an eye catcher in a “watch” way – finally! The new bands definitely give the watch a bulkier, more well-made look. Aside from the iPad sized screen, a screen protector keeps any fear of elbow bumps away. Love it!
