    The only reason I chose this camera was the option of 4K 60fps. It in fact does NOT have that as in option. The mic sounds horrible also. I’m no video buff, but the video is very clear and crisp. I’d say it’s 4K and that’s determined by looking at the properties of the video on my PC. For the price, you can’t really complain. Wish it had image stabilization, whatever anti shake means, this isn’t an option to turn on or off. Zoom is horrible, but I’ll never use it for that so I don’t care. I will be ordering an external mic, just hope it will work better than the built in one.

    Nice hand held camera. Screen is very sensitive. Have to format SD card and it will not play any SD card not formatted to video camera. Picture quality is good. Night vision is good. Picture zoom is really good. I was glad to purchase this camera.

    Bought to record musical practice sessions for later review. Sound isn’t too bad, sufficient for the purpose. The remote is a little confusing to use, but works. The on-camera controls are great, and the flippable monitor screen is very handy, no more left handed cell phone videos that made studying my playing awkward.

    I purchased this for a classroom based research study and selected this model in large part due to the remote as I wanted to be able to sit away from the camera but start/stop as needed. As a much cheaper model than others, in hindsight, I probably should have bought something else, as this has been really frustrating to use for the issues I’ll describe below.

    The video quality has worked well in various lighting – (I have not used it at night.)
    The audio quality has been hit or miss. It often picked up nearby audio of student shuffling (muffling the louder teacher-student talk), but couldn’t record student comments from across the room.

    Major issues:
    My new larger SD card reformatted the camera so that it now records upside down. Perhaps this is an easy fix, but I am still struggling to correct it within the camera. I have just edited the file after upload. The camera also only records in <15 minute intervals, so you’ll have to upload and merge files and the battery life generally only lasted one hour for me. (The description states a fully charged battery can last 90-150 minutes)

    I’ll be reverting back to using an old DSLR camera for its better battery life and recording ability and just downgrading on the HD quality.

    Camera says is 4k. Files shows mp4 3840 × 2160 but quality seems 1080p not 4k but Picture is ok for blogging. Perfect for recording videos for you tube. Zoom is digital. Not great. Recommend not to use zoom. Night vision works well. With external ir light is perfect for ghost hunting. 32gb sd card included is a plus.

    Received the camera, it turned on for about 1 minute then never turned in again. I tried charging both of the batteries it came with and they would only charge for about 2 minutes then light would go off. Went through troubleshooting and no luck with them either. I’m leaving for a trip and now have no camera!!
