This is an out of the box review. Getting this setup I really appreciate how comfortable it is and things like the metal wheelbase make me think it’ll last a lot longer and hold its form better than previous chairs. Pretty good coming from a pretty big guy.

I got this chair because my work was temporarily going fully work-from-home, so I knew I was going to spend all day sitting at the desk in my home office. This chair is super comfortable and I have no regrets. The box it came in was enormous and honestly it was kind of pain to assemble, but the chair itself is really solid. The one minor complaint I have is that no matter how I adjust it the back of the chair sort of leans back just a tiny bit – it’s very firm and it doesn’t move, but the default position seems to be slightly leaned back and I would have preferred to sit up more straight. A lumbar pillow would probably fix that, though.

I bought this chair for my boyfriend months ago and it’s been great! It’s extremely comfortable, plush, and sturdy. I find myself sitting in it while he’s away because it feels so much better than my gaming chair. We’ve been through a move already with this chair as well and it held up great through a lot of different conditions. It was very easy to assemble and came packaged very nicely. This chair was less expensive than mine and much much more comfortable, I think it’s definitely worth the money! It leans back and adjusts while I’m sitting which I enjoy as well and moves so easily with the nice wheels. I actually think the wheels might be my favorite part, they’re much nicer than any other chair I’ve ever had. I recommend this chair to anyone! I wish they had a more feminine color that would match with my desk because I would order it in a heartbeat.

I bought this because my office chair 1) was causing back issues as I do sit 90% of my day and 2) the arm padding had worn and was snatching at by pants pocket leading to worn spots/tears in my jeans. I’ve had this for a moment now. I put it together myself. Some of the balancing items would have been easier with assistance, but it is doable. The seat itself is so much better than what I had. My wide hips fit, the comfort is what I needed the most. The only thing, if I have to find something, that I would change is the arm placement just below. I tend to pull my seat under me as I go to sit down and the curve below the padded arm sits back a little. So, I usually have to pull it from a more awkward spot. No biggie, but if I had to find something I would adjust that.

I am a tall, big guy and I bought this chair based on the weight limit of 500lbs, AND the seat width measurement in the description. The chair seat width is 22″ wide. My La-z-boy office chair, which I love and fit well in, is 22″ as well. So I was confident in the sizing.

The material is a faux leather but comfortable. It is well made and great quality. It was ver simple to put together, though putting the arms and back on required some help from my wife. The base of the chair is assembled before putting the arms and back on – so it rolls around when trying to put these on. Having someone hold the chair will save you from some frustration.

I have wood floors in the studio and I like the rubber casters to help protect the floor.

It was a great price and a great buy – comfortable, well-made and perfect for my needs. I definitely recommend this chair.

My old chair was falling apart, and it had never been comfortable. The only good thing about it was that it was easy to assemble. So it was time for a new chair. I made a list of all the things I didn’t like about my old chair and looked for a new chair that didn’t have those things. Thus this Vitesse Office Chair. Right off, two positives: it’s way more comfortable than my old chair; and it’s NOT falling apart! It arrived on time in an enormous box. I didn’t even try to bring the box in from the hallway. I opened it out there and brought the pieces in one at a time. I began to see problems: The seat piece alone of the new chair weighs almost as much as my old chair complete. The Vitesse chair was relatively easy to put together, although the assembly instructions were a little sketchy, leaving several steps as understood rather than itemizing them. Those missing steps, however, all come under the heading of “common sense”, and a little thought solved all my questions. It took less than an hour to assemble (and I’m sitting in it as I type this review). Over the years I’ve assembled a fair number of pieces of furniture, shelves, appliances, etc., so I’ve gained quite a bit of experience that came in handy with this chair. Since the instructions left out a number of important steps, I would not recommend a novice build this chair. But it’s built, and I like it. I’m also tired. Manhandling all the heavy pieces was fun but tiring. I’m 80 years old, so these things are not quite as easy as they used to be <grin>. Also at over 60 lbs., the chair doesn’t weight much less than I do. It will take me awhile to get all the adjustments just the way I like them, but already the comfort is noticeable. The lumbar support is definitely helpful; that’s one adjustment I’ve already played with. I practically live in front of my computer, and this chair already is proving comfortable for those long days of sitting. I wanted a chair with excellent padding, and I thought a chair that could hold 500 lbs in comfort probably would be just fine for my 150 lbs. So far, it seems I’m right. The 3-inch rubberized single casters are easy to roll around on. So far, I’m delighted with this purchase.
